May 11, 2009 – Building on its experience designing thousands of custom homes and its leadership in delivering homes built to the highest green standards in the country, Epoch Homes (www.EpochHomes.com) introduces the Epoch Eco Collection of Homes. Each unique home design offers an efficient floor plan that optimizes the use of space for today’s lifestyles, and then incorporates building science and systems to comply with Energy Star and the 2009 National Green Building Standard ICC-700 Silver Level. Features of the Epoch Eco Collection
Energy efficient systems and state of the art insulation provide low air infiltration and major reductions in energy costs, for a lifetime of savings. Energy saving elements include:
• Icynene Spray Foam Insulation reduces air infiltration and energy consumption.
• Motion activated Energy Star bath fans ducted outside also control humidity.
• Energy Star Low E Windows complete a tightly constructed shell
